Man shot on Firetower Road, suspects sought
(LINCOLNTON, GA) – A man was shot at a Firetower Road residence Sunday night, and the suspects remain at large.
The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Department reports that on June 18 at approximately 8:54PM dispatch received a 911 call about someone being shot at a residence on Firetower Road.
Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrived on scene along with Lincoln  County EMS personnel and found one gunshot victim. Lincoln County EMS transported the victim to Doctor’s Hospital.
Deputies spoke with witnesses on scene who advised two black males arrived on scene, shot the victim, and fled the scene in a brown and gray Ford F150 in an unknown direction of travel.
The case remains under investigation.
