Norman Family Reunion in Lincolnton August 4-5
Norman Family Reunion
All descendants and connected families of Revolutionary War soldier, William Norman, are invited to attend the biennial Norman Family Association Reunion on August 4 and 5, 2023 at 7:00 p.m. at the First Assembly of God Social Hall in Lincolnton, Georgia.
Events include a casual “Kith & Kin” get-together on Friday night @ 7:00 p.m., guided tour of the ancestral cemeteries on Saturday morning (meet at the First Assembly of God @ 9:00am), a memorial service and business meeting on Saturday afternoon @ 1:30 p.m. at Midway United Methodist Church. Saturday night will feature a barbecue chicken dinner (reservations required); registration begins at 6:00 p.m.

My son and I are interested in attending, but I saw this too late. He is the great grandson of William Ellington Norman and great nephew of Marie and Ruth Norman. He has possession of the family bible of David Glaze and Susannah Norman Glaze. He also has the dreaded oath signed by Alexander Norman Glaze. We would like to share these artifacts. Please let us know when the next Norman meetings will be held.
