Customer drives car through package store window

A customer pushed the wrong pedal while pulling into a parking space on May 27, crashing into Jacks Package Store.
“I was doing stock, had just moved the last case and went to the stockroom for another case,” said Endy, the manager on duty at the time. “Then there was a crash, and a car.”
The driver of the vehicle frequents Jacks Package and the adjacent Red Roof Store regularly and is known to both the owner and staff. She told staff she just hit the wrong pedal at the time of the accident.
Both parties are working with insurance companies to get Jacks Package Store back open as soon as possible, and everyone is grateful there were no injuries other than damage to the building.
