BREAKING: 17-year-old charged with Murder in Death of 13-year-old at McCormick Boat Dock

A 17-year-old has been charged with murder in yesterday’s death of a 13-year-old found dead at a Modoc boat dock in McCormick County. According to SLED officials 17-year-old Landen Austin Moore has been charged with the murder of 13-year-old Daryl Lowry. SLED officers say that Moore is a suspect in the case in which Lowry was slashed with a knife and held underwater leading to his death. An unidentified 16-year-old has also been transferred to the South Carolina Department of Juvenile Justice. Moore has been charged and transported to the McCormick County Detention Center.
